Great to meet you!

I am a licensed psychologist and psychoanalyst with advanced training in interpersonal psychoanalysis, a relationship-centered approach that explores how our patterns, emotions, and sense of self are shaped through interactions with others. I have a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Long Island University-Brooklyn as well as a postgraduate certificate in psychoanalysis from the William Alanson White Institute and I have trained and worked in a variety of clinical settings from inpatient hospitals to outpatient and private practice settings.

My approach to therapy

In therapy, I work to create a warm, collaborative space for people to reflect, gain insight, and grow through meaningful connection. I work with people navigating life transitions, relationship stress, identity issues and intergenerational trauma.

I have a particular interest in work with parents, supporting them through the profound and complex emotional experience of parenthood, including identity shifts, relationship changes, and the challenges of balancing caregiving and self-care. An additional interest is in working with athletes, both current and former, who are navigating performance pressure, identity, injury, transitions, or the emotional demands of competition.

What you can expect from me

In addition to helping you feel better, you can expect our work to focus on deeper emotional themes underlying anxiety, depression, self-sabotage, and relationship challenges. You can expect to experience both symptom relief as well as the development of a more authentic, resilient connection to yourself and to others.
