Great to meet you!

Michelle Gomez, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-C, is a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centered care across the lifespan. I am passionate about mental health services to support the whole person, emphasizing prevention, wellness, and individualized treatment. I am dedicated to fostering meaningful patient relationships through compassionate communication, evidence-based practice, and collaborative care, empowering patients to achieve their best physical and emotional health.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is centered on partnership, compassion, and respect. I believe the best healthcare begins with listening and understanding each person's unique experiences, goals, and concerns. By building trusting relationships, I create a safe, supportive environment where patients feel heard, valued, and empowered to take an active role in their health.

As a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I recognize that physical and mental health are deeply connected. I provide comprehensive, evidence-based care that addresses the whole person rather than focusing solely on symptoms or diagnoses. Together, we develop individualized treatment plans that reflect each patient's needs, preferences, and lifestyle.

I strive to educate patients so they can make informed decisions with confidence, while offering guidance, encouragement, and practical solutions throughout their healthcare journey. My goal is to help every patient improve their overall well-being, achieve lasting health outcomes, and feel supported every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is getting to know you—not just your symptoms, but your story. We'll spend time discussing what brought you to treatment, your current concerns, your medical and mental health history, any previous treatments, and the goals you hope to achieve.

This initial visit is a collaborative conversation designed to help us develop a clear understanding of your needs. If appropriate, we'll discuss potential treatment options, which may include therapy recommendations, lifestyle modifications, medication management, or referrals to additional resources. I'll explain my recommendations, answer your questions, and make sure you feel informed and involved in every decision.

My goal is to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing openly and at your own pace. By the end of our first session, you'll have a better understanding of your diagnosis, a personalized treatment plan, and clear next steps as we begin working together toward your goals.
