Great to meet you!

Hello! If you are looking for a therapist with real depth of experience, I am Michelle. I am an LCSW with over 12 years of practice helping people navigate anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship challenges, and the moments that feel heaviest. My approach is warm and collaborative, and sessions are always centered on what matters most to you. Outside of my work, I enjoy working with and experiencing the arts, being outdoors, and spending time with family. I would love to connect. Schedule some time with me, I look forward to meeting you.

My approach to therapy

I draw on a range of approaches and tailor them to what each person needs. For anxiety, depression, and patterns of thinking that keep you stuck, I work with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). For trauma, I use Trauma-Focused CBT and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). For deeper emotional patterns and relationship dynamics, I bring in Psychodynamic and Attachment-Based approaches. For building skills to manage intense emotions, I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Sessions are collaborative: I will share what I am noticing, invite your perspective, and adjust as we go. The goal is for you to understand yourself more clearly and move toward the life you are working toward.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a relaxed conversation. You will share what is bringing you in, what you are hoping to change, and any questions you have for me. I know the first call can feel like a big step, and there is no pressure to have the right words. By the end, my goal is for you to leave feeling heard, a little clearer, and confident that you are in the right place.
