Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Michelle Gutierrez, a License Clinical Social Worker dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey towards personal and emotional growth. I attended Abilene Christian University for my undergraduate studies, and University of Houston for graduate studies. I don't believe that one-size fits all in therapy, as your story is unique and meaningful. I have been in practice since 2008 and working with a various adult population.

My approach to therapy

I believe you are the expert in your own life. My role is to support and guide you toward the goals that matter most to you. While talking things through is important, I don’t believe in just “talk therapy.” Expect to be actively engaged between sessions with reflections, exercises, or strategies to try out in real life.

What you can expect from me

You can expect honesty and directness from me, always paired with validation and compassion. I see therapy as a journey, unique for everyone, and I’m honored to be part of yours.

We’ll begin by gathering information and identifying your goals. From there, we’ll work together to develop an approach and strategies that feel meaningful and sustainable for you.
