Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with years of experience, I am passionate about helping individuals navigate a range of challenges. My expertise includes supporting women experiencing anxiety, depression, overthinking, or emotional burnout. I also specialize in helping individuals improve their self-esteem, establish and maintain healthy boundaries, practice self-care and mindfulness.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Texas at Brownsville, followed by a Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space for you to begin your journey toward healing.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a person-centered philosophy, which means our sessions will be a true partnership. We will work together to identify your goals and create a roadmap to get there.

What you can expect from me

Therapy is a collaborative journey, and my goal is to walk alongside you as a guide and partner. My approach is rooted in a person-centered philosophy, where I create a safe and non-judgmental space for you to feel heard and understood. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, giving you the tools to manage your emotions and reactions.

I believe you already have the strength within you to create positive change. My role is to help you uncover that strength. We'll work together on a solutions-focused plan, using narrative therapy to help you understand your story and reality therapy to focus on actionable steps. You can expect to gain a sense of empowerment and a practical skill set that will serve you long after our sessions are over.
