Great to meet you!

I am a licensed therapist with 13 years of experience helping adults navigate life transitions, divorce, estrangement from adult children, grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in creating a safe space where clients feel truly heard, supported, and understood. I believe therapy should feel like a genuine human connection — one where you can show up exactly as you are without fear of judgment.

My work integrates mindfulness, emotional processing, cognitive and behavioral strategies, and strengths-based approaches to help clients better understand themselves, manage overwhelming emotions, and create meaningful, lasting change. I am especially passionate about helping women rediscover their sense of identity and emotional stability after painful or unexpected life transitions.

My approach to therapy

I help adults navigating life transitions who feel overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, trauma, or depression and disconnected from themselves. Using Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction techniques, along with creative expression and animal-assisted therapy, I help clients build awareness, regulate emotions, and break free from negative thinking patterns. Through this work, clients feel calmer, more present, and more confident in managing life’s challenges, allowing them to experience greater balance, clarity, and a renewed sense of peace and fulfillment.

What you can expect from me

Your first therapy session is a chance for us to begin getting to know one another in a comfortable, supportive, and nonjudgmental space. I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you’re already emotionally overwhelmed, so my goal is to help you feel at ease from the very beginning.

During our first session, we’ll talk about what has been bringing you to therapy, the challenges you’ve been facing, and what you hope to gain from the process. You do not need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to start — we will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I may ask questions about your relationships, emotional experiences, stressors, and personal history to better understand the bigger picture of what you’re carrying.

This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and get a sense of whether we feel like the right fit for one another. Therapy works best when you feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood. My approach is warm, conversational, and collaborative, and I want you to leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful that change is possible.

Most importantly, you can expect a space where you no longer have to carry everything alone.
