Great to meet you!

Life changes can leave even the strongest person feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain about what comes next. With more than 25 years of clinical experience, I provide individual therapy in both English and Spanish and welcome clients from diverse backgrounds and stages of life. I work with adults and older adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD-related challenges, caregiver stress, compassion fatigue, emotional burnout, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, family conflict, workplace stress, aging-related concerns, adjustment challenges, self-esteem concerns, women’s issues, and major life transitions. I am committed to creating a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you feel genuinely heard while receiving practical support to strengthen your well-being and move forward with greater confidence.

My approach to therapy

My work is affirming, collaborative, strengths-based, and practical. I tailor therapy to your history, culture, needs, and goals, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Mind-Body Medicine, Strength-Based Therapy, Supportive Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. Together, we may explore emotional and behavioral patterns, manage anxious or depressive thoughts, improve emotional regulation, build coping skills, navigate stress and relationships, and develop healthier responses to change.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a welcoming, nonjudgmental conversation focused on understanding what brings you to therapy and what you need most right now. You do not need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin. I will invite you to share your current concerns, relevant experiences, strengths, and hopes for therapy, while we begin to identify how anxiety, depression, ADHD-related difficulties, stress, or life changes may be affecting your daily life and relationships. My goal is to help you feel more capable and supported as you move toward the life you want.
