Great to meet you!

I want you to know that you don’t have to navigate everything on your own. I strive to create a warm, judgment-free space where you can be honest, feel understood, and be yourself. I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to support you while helping you gain insight, develop practical coping skills, and work through patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I’ll meet you where you are while gently challenging you when it can help you move forward. I tailor therapy to your needs, personality, and goals using evidence-based and creative approaches. I also believe there is room for humor in therapy—sometimes laughter can create connection, ease tension, and make the process feel more natural. My hope is that you leave therapy feeling empowered, understood, and more confident in navigating life’s challenges.

My approach to therapy

My approach is holistic, trauma-informed, collaborative, and personalized to your needs. I use evidence-based and creative techniques to help you build insight, manage emotions, improve relationships, and develop practical coping skills. I provide a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can feel supported while also being gently challenged to grow. I also believe humor can be an important part of creating connection and making therapy feel comfortable and authentic.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping to work on, and what you would like to get out of therapy. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and current challenges.

Most importantly, there is no pressure to have everything figured out. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive space where you can be yourself, ask questions, and begin building a therapeutic relationship that feels like a good fit.
