Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Michelle! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been practicing therapy since 2019. I’ve worked with young adults, older adults, children, and families in private practice, through school based therapy, and in systemic settings.

I have a special place in my heart for anyone navigating a transition in life, mothers throughout the pre, peri, and postpartum seasons, and those who are simply trying to find or reconnect with themselves.

My goal is to meet you where you are, create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, and work together toward what feels meaningful and helpful to you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, conversational, and judgment-free. I want therapy to be a place where you can be completely yourself, feel understood, and work toward the changes you want to make. I often incorporate mindfulness based strategies and take a holistic approach, while drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I meet each client where they are and tailor our work to their individual needs, goals, and experiences.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. I’ll explain what you can expect from therapy, answer any questions, and work with you to identify your goals while creating a comfortable and welcoming space. I’ll ask questions to better understand what you’re experiencing, but there is no pressure to share more than you’re ready to share. Most importantly, I’m here to work alongside you and make sure therapy feels like a collaborative process from the start.
