Great to meet you!

As a board-approved counselor in Texas and Rhode Island, I believe caring for your mental health is one of the most important steps toward creating peace and stability. Reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, and I truly commend you for taking that step. For the past eight years, I’ve worked primarily with adults navigating post-traumatic stress disorder and anxiety. My approach is supportive, practical, and focused on helping you feel grounded, empowered, and confident in your daily life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and goal oriented. I strive to create a calm, supportive space where you feel safe to explore your experiences without judgment. I apply evidence-based approaches that are designed to help you better understand your patterns, build coping skills, and regain a sense of control. Together, we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you while focusing on practical tools that create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a warm, supportive space where you’re invited to share your story at a pace that feels comfortable. We’ll discuss what brought you to therapy, clarify your goals, and identify the areas of your life you’d like to improve. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences, particularly related to anxiety or trauma, while being mindful not to overwhelm you. We’ll aim have a clear direction for treatment and a practical plan that feels manageable and aligned with your needs.
