Great to meet you!

Hello,

My name is Michelle, and I currently hold a MA in Counseling Psychology. I'm Licensed in Professional Counseling as well as Addictions. I worked with individuals in couples who expererience challenges with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, relationships, domestic violence, postpartum depression, and anger managment.

My approach to therapy

With a person-centered approach, I create a space where clients feel empowered to explore their emotions and work towards healing. I believe in the importance of individualized care, integrating evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-focused Brief Therapy and Narrative Therapy, and Eclectic approaches.

What you can expect from me

I want individuals to know that if they choose to do counseling with me, it is a safe place to be themselves and they can speak about whatever they need to talk about without fear of being judged. I came into counseling knowing that everyone has a past and a story to tell, and everyone should be able to open up in their own time.
