My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, compassion, and I don't believe in stimatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and solution-focused therapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
In our first session, you can expect a welcoming, supportive, judgment-free space where we begin getting to know one another. We"ll talk about brought you to therapy, what you're hoping to change or understand, and any concerns you may have about the process.
I ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences, history, and current challenges, while also giving you plenty of space to share at your on pace. There's no pressure to have everything figured out or talk about anything before you're ready.
Together, we'll begin identifying goals and exploring how therapy can best support you. I also explain how I work, answer any questions you have, and collaborate with you on next steps so you leave the session with a clearer sense of direction and support.
