Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming during difficult times, making it hard to feel connected to others, manage emotions about your responsibilities, feel alone, and cope with stress & anxiety that keep you from enjoying your life. In therapy, you don't have to figure this out alone. Together, we will explore the root of your anxiety, build coping skills to manage day-to-day life, and develop a stronger sense of self and your needs so you can address them before problems arise.

As a first-generation Asian American therapist, I support individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and overwhelming stress. My experiences include supporting patients and families through overwhelming emotions in emergency situations as a hospital social worker and helping BIPOC individuals struggling with burnout, perfectionism, and overwhelming emotions.

If you're ready to take the first step, I’m here to support you—let’s talk about how to help you move forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach blends evidence-based tools with genuine warmth & building trust where healing can happen. Building trust is at the core of our work together, so I go at your pace and help you build confidence in navigating your life & emotions. Together, we will identify thought patterns that are impacting your daily life and develop tools to help manage life's stressors. Treatment will be tailored to your specific needs and can include Client-Centered and Cognitive-Behavioral interventions.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll explore what brings you to therapy and identify clear, specific goals to guide our work and help you track your progress. From there, we will continue to focus on your goals during each session. I will meet you where you are in how you're feeling and how your week is going, and offer reflective thoughts and questions to help best support your needs. Most clients begin to notice meaningful improvements over time as they actively engage in therapy.
