Great to meet you!

I believe therapy doesn't have to feel stiff or intimidating. My approach is direct — I'll be honest with you, ask the hard questions, and help you cut through the noise — but I also bring warmth and humor to our sessions, because healing happens best when you feel comfortable and even enjoy the process.

My goal is for you to walk away from each session feeling genuinely heard, with real tools and insights you can use. Whether you're navigating a major life transition, working through long-standing patterns, or just trying to feel more like yourself, I'm here to do that work alongside you — without the therapy-speak or unnecessary formality.

My approach to therapy

My approach is practical, collaborative, and grounded in who you are as an individual. I draw primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused techniques — which means we won't just spend time exploring the past, but we'll also focus on building real, actionable strategies you can use in your everyday life.

That said, I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether I'm working with individuals or couples, I tailor our sessions to what you actually need, moving at a pace that feels right for you.

I work with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and questions of identity and self-worth. No matter what brings you in, my style stays the same — direct, honest, and warm. I take the work seriously, but I also believe a little humor and lightness can go a long way in making therapy feel like a place you actually want to show up to.

My hope is that you leave every session with something tangible — a new perspective, a coping tool, or simply the clarity that comes from finally saying the thing out loud.

What you can expect from me

The first session is really about getting to know each other. You can expect a mix of some structure — I'll ask questions to better understand your background, what's brought you in, and what you're hoping to get out of therapy — and genuine conversation, because I want you to feel like a person in the room, not a checklist.

My biggest goal for session one is simple: that you leave feeling a little lighter than when you walked in. Starting therapy takes courage, and I don't take that lightly. I'll do my best to make the space feel comfortable, judgment-free, and even a bit warmer than you might expect.

By the end of our first session, I'll have a clearer picture of your history and what's going on for you right now, and together we'll start to shape what you actually want to work toward. There's no pressure to have it all figured out — that's what we're here to do together.
