Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Michelle, a doctorate-prepared, dual-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC). I believe that mental health is influenced by the connection between our mind, body, relationships, culture, and life experiences. This perspective guides my whole-person approach to care, where I focus on understanding you as an individual—not just a diagnosis or a list of symptoms.

My goal is to create a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel safe, respected, and heard. I take the time to listen to your story, understand your unique experiences, and work collaboratively with you to develop a personalized treatment plan. Together, we will focus on building resilience, improving emotional well-being, and creating meaningful, lasting change so you can feel more confident, balanced, and empowered in your daily life.

My approach to therapy

I believe effective mental health care goes beyond treating symptoms. I take a compassionate, evidence-based, and whole-person approach that recognizes the important connection between mental, physical, emotional, and social well-being. I value building genuine relationships with my clients and work collaboratively to understand your unique experiences, strengths, and goals.

Every person’s journey is different, and I strive to create a treatment plan that is personalized to your individual needs. I am open to integrating both traditional and complementary approaches when appropriate, always focusing on what best supports your overall wellness. My goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered while working toward meaningful, lasting improvements in your quality of life.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a warm, supportive, and judgment-free first session where we take time to talk about what’s been going on, what challenges you’re facing, and what goals you hope to achieve. I offer convenient virtual appointments so you can access care from the comfort of your own home.

Together, we’ll create a personalized plan that fits your needs and helps you move toward feeling better. My goal is to help you better understand your symptoms, build practical coping skills, and feel supported every step of the way.
