My name is Michelle Frutkin Lester. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (IL) and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (IN). I attended North Park University in Chicago for my Masters in Counseling Psychology. I hold Paralegal Certificate from Roosevelt University in Chicago. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked as a family law paralegal. I have experience working with a variety of populations and issues, including addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and relationships.

My approach to therapy is person-centered and collaborative. I strive to meet you meet you where you are and work together to meet your goals. I pull from a variety of therapeutic modalities, incluing EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic, to name a few.

My clients typically comment on feeling seen and heard. They appreciate the feedback and collaborative approach. I create a space for clients in which they can feel safe and know that they can move at their own pace.
