Great to meet you!

For over a decade, I’ve dedicated myself to supporting my community through compassionate service and connection. Along the way, I discovered the transformative power of therapy in my own life — not just as a professional, but as a person seeking growth, healing, and deeper self-understanding.

Therapy helped me become a more grounded, present, and whole version of myself. That journey inspired a profound shift — one that has come full circle. Today, I feel deeply honored to walk alongside you as you navigate your own paths toward healing and self-discovery.

At Amethyst Counseling and Wellness, I offer a safe, inclusive space for adults seeking to move through pain, reconnect with themselves, and build a life rooted in authenticity and hope. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for something more, I'm here to support you — wherever you are in your journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and collaboration. I draw from different perspectives to support your healing — including an understanding of how your past experiences may be influencing your present (psychoanalytic), a belief in your ability to grow and find your own answers (humanistic and client-centered), and a recognition of the deeper questions we all face, like meaning, purpose, and identity (existential). I also use practical tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you recognize unhelpful thought patterns, shift behaviors, and build healthier ways of coping. At the heart of it all, I see therapy as a safe space for you to explore who you are, what you’ve been through, and where you want to go — with support every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

In each session, my goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported — without judgment. You can expect to walk away with a deeper understanding of yourself, greater clarity around your thoughts and emotions, and practical tools to help you manage life’s challenges. Whether we're exploring your past, working through current stressors, or building skills to support your goals, sessions are tailored to meet you where you are. Over time, many clients find they gain not only insight, but also a stronger sense of self-worth, emotional resilience, and the confidence to move forward with intention and authenticity.
