Great to meet you!

Holding a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from UMKC, I specialize in mental and behavioral health. I’ve advanced from outpatient counseling to directing a residential treatment center, enhancing my skills across diverse issues. Now, I run a private practice and a non-profit, advocating for mental health and addiction awareness in a Safe Space that honors cultural sensitivity.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic method focuses on a collaborative effort to reach our shared goals. Recognizing that the path to healing may present challenges, it is through our united efforts that we can achieve milestones. It is by fostering a spirit of teamwork and nurturing self-kindness that we can implement the positive transformations we seek in our lives.

What you can expect from me

Clients often find a sense of independence when engaging with this therapist. Sometimes, individuals simply need a space where they are listened to and can create a personalized approach that suits their needs. Much of this process begins with cultivating self-acceptance and compassion, acknowledging that we are all human and inherently flawed.
