Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, life transitions, behavioral change, and emotional overwhelm. My work is grounded in the belief that healing isn't about fixing what's broken—it's about reconnecting with the parts of yourself that have been buried beneath stress, fear, or old patterns.

Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable people who appear to have it together on the outside while privately feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck. They often come to therapy because they're ready for more than simply managing symptoms—they want to understand themselves more deeply and create meaningful, lasting change.

My background includes advanced training in mindfulness and meditation through UCLA, along with extensive experience integrating mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and evidence-based psychotherapy. I strive to create a therapy experience that is warm, collaborative, practical, and deeply respectful of each person's unique journey.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, a major life transition, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, my hope is that our work together helps you reconnect with your inner wisdom, build resilience, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

My approach to therapy

I believe meaningful change begins with awareness—but it doesn't end there. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical, helping clients understand not only what they're experiencing, but why it keeps happening and how to create lasting change.

I integrate evidence-based psychotherapy with mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and self-compassion to help clients develop greater emotional resilience and self-awareness. Together, we explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck while building practical tools you can apply in everyday life.

I tailor therapy to each individual rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach. Depending on your needs, our work may include mindfulness practices, values clarification, behavioral change strategies, emotional processing, or developing new ways of responding to life's challenges.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship difficulties, life transitions, burnout, or feeling disconnected from yourself, my goal is to help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and a deeper sense of alignment.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what has brought you to therapy. I want you to feel heard, respected, and supported—not judged or rushed.

We'll explore what you're experiencing, what's most important to you, and what you hope will be different as a result of our work together. I'll ask questions to better understand your history, current challenges, strengths, and goals, while also giving you plenty of space to share your story at your own pace.

By the end of our first session, my hope is that you'll leave with a greater sense of clarity, a feeling of being understood, and confidence that we have a thoughtful plan for moving forward together. Therapy is a collaborative process, and my intention is to create a safe, compassionate environment where meaningful and lasting change can unfold.
