Michelle McDaniel is a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) serving the Central Florida community. She began her nursing career after graduating from the University of Puerto Rico's Arecibo campus in 1998 and initially worked at CAPITAS as a psychiatric registered nurse. Her early experience laid a strong foundation for a lifelong commitment to mental health and patient care.
Michelle also gained extensive clinical experience in cardiovascular intensive care, working at Pavia Hospital and Caribbean Healthcare Systems, also known as the VA, further broadening her expertise in complex medical settings.
She later earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Sacred Heart University. She began sharing her knowledge and experience through teaching roles at both Ana G. Méndez University and Sacred Heart University.
Michelle has contributed her skills across several psychiatric hospitals throughout Central Florida. In 2023, she completed her PMHNP degree from Herzing University, expanding her scope of practice and continuing her mission to support mental health across the lifespan.
Currently, Michelle provides outpatient and telemedicine psychiatric services to children, adolescents, adults, and the geriatric population. Her diverse background, bilingual capabilities, and decades of clinical and teaching experience make her a trusted provider and advocate in the field of mental health.
