Great to meet you!

I believe we’re all navigating this human experience together, and none of us are meant to do it alone. Whether you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about who you are, therapy offers an opportunity to heal, gain insight, and create meaningful change.

My own experience with counseling transformed my life. It inspired me to become a therapist and continues to shape how I show up for my clients—with authenticity, compassion, and genuine human connection.

I earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with dual specializations in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling and Military Families and Culture. My approach is integrative, drawing from cognitive behavioral (CBT), humanistic, existential, mindfulness-based, and trauma-informed therapies to create treatment that fits each client’s unique needs.

One of my primary clinical focuses is ADHD. I enjoy helping adolescents and adults better understand executive functioning, emotional regulation, relationships, work, school, and self-esteem while developing practical strategies for lasting success. I also work with anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment disorders, mood disorders, relationship concerns, life transitions, stress, and identity exploration.

I work with adolescents, teens, adults, and couples. I have additional training in trauma, addiction, family systems, marriage and couples counseling, sex-positive therapy, kink-affirming care, and alternative relationship dynamics.

Above all, I believe therapy is a collaborative partnership. My role isn’t to tell you what you should do or give advice-it’s to help you better understand yourself, build on your strengths, and create a life that feels authentic, meaningful, and aligned with your values.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in authenticity, collaboration, and genuine human connection. While I maintain the professional boundaries that create a safe and ethical therapeutic relationship, I also believe therapy shouldn’t feel cold, overly clinical, or intimidating. I show up as my authentic self and invite my clients to do the same.

Whether you’re navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, or a major life transition, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable enough to be honest—even about the things you’ve never said out loud. There is no judgment in our work together. You don’t have to censor yourself or pretend you’re okay. You can simply show up as you are.

I view therapy as a collaborative partnership. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to serve as your guide, advocate, and teammate as we work toward your goals. Together, we’ll identify patterns, build on your strengths, develop practical skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My therapeutic style is integrative and individualized, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), humanistic, existential, mindfulness-based, and trauma-informed approaches. I believe therapy should fit the person—not the other way around. Every treatment plan is tailored to your unique experiences, values, and strengths.

Whether you need a space to laugh, cry, process difficult emotions, celebrate successes, or simply take a break from carrying everything on your own, I strive to make therapy feel like a place where you can exhale. Healing begins when we feel safe enough to be fully ourselves, and creating that environment is one of my highest priorities.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a therapeutic relationship rooted in trust, authenticity, and collaboration. I understand that starting therapy can feel vulnerable, so my first priority is creating an environment where you feel comfortable, respected, and accepted from the moment we begin.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before our first appointment, and there is no expectation that you’ll know exactly what to say. You can simply show up as you are. My goal is to provide a space where you feel safe enough to be honest without fear of judgment. Whether you need to laugh, cry, pause to gather your thoughts, or simply take a deep breath, all of it is welcome.

During our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know you-your story, your strengths, your challenges, and what has brought you to therapy. Together, we’ll identify your goals and begin developing a plan that reflects your unique needs, values, and hopes for the future. I also welcome your questions about the therapy process so that you feel informed and empowered from the very beginning.

Therapy is a collaborative process, not something that is done to you. I see myself as your guide, advocate, and collaborator as we work together to better understand your experiences, develop practical tools, and create meaningful, lasting change. My hope is that you’ll leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and confident that you’ve found a therapist who will walk alongside you with compassion, authenticity, and evidence-based care.
