Great to meet you!

My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by my own personal experiences and my interests in human behavior, attachment theory, and social justice. My nearly six years of experience working in community mental health have strongly influenced my therapeutic lens. I am LGBTQIA+-affirming, committed to working from an antiracist lens, and deeply value inclusivity of all kinds. I have been fortunate enough to serve a socioculturally diverse population, including adults living with severe and persistent mental illness, undocumented individuals, survivors of trauma, LGBTQ+ folks, and differently-abled children and adolescents.

My approach to therapy

I truly believe that my clients have the innate ability to heal from their emotional wounds. My role is to help you connect to these natural strengths through our work in therapy. I will foster a safe and confidential space where we can explore your unique needs, deepen your relationship with yourself, and help you heal emotional wounds. Our sessions are always trauma-informed and judgment-free. I specialize in treating individuals living with anxiety, successful women who don’t feel satisfied with all they’ve achieved, and those who identify as motherless mothers or motherless daughters. Often my clients identify as all three.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for you to share your story at your own pace while we begin to get a sense of what feels most important to focus on. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences, what’s been weighing on you, and what kind of support you’re looking for. Together, we’ll start identifying patterns, challenges, and goals, while building a foundation of trust and safety. My approach is gentle, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens when you feel understood and supported.
