Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm Michelle Miller and I've been practicing therapy as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) for over 15 years. I recognize how challenging it can be to step into the process of healing and change. I strive to make the therapy process feel approachable and safe.

My approach to therapy

I work to meet you wherever you may be emotionally, mentally, and physically. Therapy is different for everyone and so I use an integrated and collaborative approach to treatment that combines techniques and interventions that are best suited for you. In sessions, I use compassion, humor, empowerment, and curiosity to help you share your story, cultivate your strengths, achieve your goals, and promote your overall well-being to live a full, balanced life.

What you can expect from me

I enjoy helping clients develop positive ways to manage emotions, change negative/self-defeating thoughts, develop new perspectives and nourish healthy relationships with themselves and others. Common therapy topics include boundaries, self care, mindfulness, shame and guilt, anxiety, perfectionism, self-doubt/self-criticism, relationship conflict, coping skills, life stressors and acceptance. I look forward to the opportunity to walk empathetically alongside you on your individual journey.
