Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Tampa, Florida. I have been licensed for over 20 years and I work with adults and teens, primarily using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy but I have many therapeutic tools I rely upon when the opportunities presents themselves.

A bit about my approach to therapy

The most common modality I rely upon is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. However, my approach varies depending on the individual needs of each client I meet. Some clients may benefit from a more behavioral approach while others are more psychodynamic, etc. I let my clients lead me when determining what approach may work best to fit their needs.

What you can expect from our first session

I typically work with clients who are dealing with life stress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, anger, and coping with life changes. My focus is on helping clients learn to accept what they cannot change, while improving coping skills for dealing with those things, and helping strengthen their ability to handle the things they can change, such as how they react to triggers and stressors.
