Great to meet you!

Are you Latinx, experiencing anxiety or depression? Hi! I’m Michelle, a first-generation Latinx therapist who has a passion for supporting the Latinx community with their mental health goals. There are so many factors that contribute to mental health, but I am here to help you get more clarity and direction.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is eclectic. It draws from person-centered, trauma-informed, strength-based, feminist, and anti-oppressive principles. I recognize how our lived experiences are impacted not just by our individual choices, or upbringing, but also by the larger systems that contribute to generations of trauma.

I can help you develop a more nuanced understanding of your experiences and emotions, to move away from self-criticism or feeling stuck to feeling like you’re finally breaking ground.

What you can expect from me

I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, but you decide what growth and progress looks like. Together we can navigate areas that are holding you back and find ways to help you move closer to your goals.
