Great to meet you!

Welcome! Whether you're an athlete, performer, and high-achieving individual seeking to improve both mental wellness and performance or navigating anxiety, relationship concerns, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, my goal is to provide a supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to create lasting change. I am also a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC), which has allowed me to work especially well with those who need consistent, high level performance. My clinical experience includes working with adults, adolescents, couples, families, athletes, LGBTQ+ individuals, survivors of sexual assault, and neurodivergent clients.

My approach to therapy

I believe that every person has strengths that can serve as a foundation for growth. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual's unique experiences and goals. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with over 14 years of clinical experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges and move toward meaningful change. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Family Studies (2011) and my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (2013). Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, university counseling, integrated healthcare, and higher education. In addition to providing therapy, I have served as an adjunct professor, consulted with athletes and organizations, and collaborated with medical providers and multidisciplinary teams to support whole-person care. I have also provided brief counseling through Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), giving me experience supporting individuals through work-related stress, life transitions, and other personal challenges.

What you can expect from me

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and it's completely normal to have questions or feel uncertain. I look at the first session as an opportunity for us to get to know one another. I'll spend time learning about what brings you to therapy, your personal history, your strengths, and what you hope to accomplish. You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions about my approach and discuss any concerns you may have. Together, we'll begin identifying goals and determine how we can work collaboratively toward meaningful change. There is no expectation that you share everything at once because it is important we move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Ultimately, I want you to walk away from the first session feeling heard, supported, and more hopeful about the future.
