I am a licensed and certified counselor in the State of Illinois. I have been practicing for over 20 years. I have worked with adults and young adults that may be facing depression, anxiety, stress-management, and burn-out. I also have experience assisting individuals facing tough career choices, stress related to losing a position and/or finding employment, career exploration, as well as I am certified in providing interest inventories.
My approach is to ensure a warm and safe environment that will allow to explore the challenges they are facing and together we can work toward health and healing. I utilize the approach of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as Person Centered Therapy and determine which will best fit your needs.
The outcome of therapy is to provide and understand the different communication styles an individual may possess and assist them in communicating in an honest and clear way to ensure that the interactions are productive and proactive.
