Great to meet you!

My strengths as a therapist lie in my decades of experience as a researcher in the field of psychology, my breadth and depth of knowledge of lifespan development, and my lived experiences of mental health struggles that I have learned to overcome. I am well-versed in issues concerning aging and caregiving for older adults. I also have extensive background knowledge of multicultural psychology and center social justice in my work. I am looking forward to our journey together toward healing.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is structured with clearly delineated goals. Like physical therapy sessions, most of the healing work occurs outside our time together: it is on you to complete the work outside our sessions to facilitate your healing process. I am here as your guide.

What you can expect from me

Therapy is a collaborative process; if we work well together, we can help heal your mind. Think of your mind as a muscle that we are retraining together in order to function more effectively.
