Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Michelle, a licensed therapist with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals and families through grief, dementia, caregiving, end of life transitions, and relationship challenges. Since beginning my work in 2008, I’ve had the honor of walking alongside people during some of the most emotionally intense and meaningful moments of life.

I specialize in working with adults navigating anticipatory grief, caregiving burnout, identity shifts, and relational difficulties, especially when connected to illness or loss. My background includes hands on work with seniors living with cognitive and physical disabilities, giving me a deep understanding of the emotional, relational, and logistical challenges they and their loved ones face.

I hold a Master’s in Transpersonal Psychology from Naropa University, and I draw from evidence based, compassion driven frameworks to help people find clarity, grounding, and meaning in the midst of uncertainty.

My approach to therapy

My approach is relational, intuitive, and grounded in presence. I believe therapy is a space to slow down and reconnect with your own inner wisdom, especially when life feels overwhelming, uncertain, or heavy. I work collaboratively, meeting you where you are and honoring the complexity of your lived experience.

I integrate mindfulness, somatic awareness, attachment based therapy, and Internal Family Systems informed parts work to help clients explore their emotions, shift unhelpful patterns, and build resilience. I’m especially attuned to the deeper layers of grief, identity, and meaning making that often arise in caregiving, end of life, and relationship work.

Influenced by the teachings of Eckhart Tolle and other spiritual perspectives, I hold space for the existential and soulful aspects of healing, including presence, impermanence, love, and loss. Whether you’re navigating a major transition or simply feeling the weight of being human, I aim to offer a grounded, compassionate space where insight can emerge and lasting change can take root.

What you can expect from me

In session, you can expect a calm, grounded atmosphere where your full humanity is welcome, including the messy, tender, and beautiful parts. I’ll meet you where you are, listen deeply, and work with you to gently explore whatever is coming up. Sessions may include reflective conversation, somatic check ins, or skill building practices, depending on what feels most useful to you.

Clients often say they feel seen, steadied, and less alone after our work together. You will not be rushed or judged here, just supported in reconnecting to your voice, your truth, and your capacity to move forward, even during life’s hardest seasons.
