I am excited at the opportunity to introduce myself and see if we may be a good fit! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15 years of experience as a psychotherapist working with children, adolescents, families, and adults. I believe in taking a whole health approach and work with individuals dealing with depression and anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, adjustment problems, relational difficulties, and chronic health conditions. I take a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach and believe that real change occurs within the context of a safe and collaborative relationship.
I am trained in a broad range of evidence-based therapies, which enable me to take an individualized approach and tailor treatment to your personal values, needs, and goals. I have extensive experience providing Mindfulness based Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, to adolescents and adults struggling with emotion regulation problems.
Clients can expect a warm and collaborative environment, where they are able to slow down and explore what is most important. I believe in the therapy relationship as integral to change and meeting clients where they are at is essential to the therapeutic process. We will work together on identifying the goals that are important to you and align with yours values and needs. Clients will learn ways to connect and reflect on internal experience through mindfulness based therapies and techniques. In addition, clients will learn skills to strengthen emotional regulation and interpersonal effectiveness.
