Great to meet you!

I enjoy working with adults of all ages overcome challenges and those who need support dealing with life stressors. I work particularly well with young adults navigating life transitions and exploring identity issues. I have extensive experience working with disordered eating, substance use recovery, and relationship challenges. I have over 10 years of experience working across a variety of clinical settings, including residential, IOP/PHP and outpatient treatment centers. I have also worked in school based counseling, college counseling centers, and private practice. These diverse environments have strengthened my ability to support clients with a wide range of needs and backgrounds.

I also offer therapy for therapists! If you are experiencing clinical burnout, compassion fatigue, moral injury, vicarious trauma and/or are seeking a space to process any transference/countertransference issues, I can help! I greatly value working with others in the helping profession, and know how hard it can be to make space for your own needs.

Please note, my private practice is not designed for crisis stabilization, those involved in volatile, high-conflict/contentious relationships, or individuals needing a higher level of care.

My approach to therapy

I provide a collaborative, strengths-based approach towards healing and helping you achieve your goals. I also take a holistic and integrative approach to therapy, which includes helping you with your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs. I combine empathy with practical tools to help you build confidence and self-resilience. My ideal clients are those who are ready to make meaningful changes to improve their lives and overall well-being. My goal is to create a safe space where you feel comfortable exploring areas where you feel stuck, processing unresolved trauma, and uncovering new insights.

I welcome clients from all backgrounds, including those with varied political, religious, and spiritual beliefs.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be an intake assessment for me to gather a comprehensive picture of your needs. I will collaborate with you to identify meaningful goals that are aligned with your values and needs. We will work towards these goals by deepening insight, exploring behavioral patterns, and gently challenging what gets in the way of feeling stuck. I also integrate CBT to help reframe unhelpful thoughts along with elements from DBT, ACT, and motivational interviewing to encourage positive change and develop practical coping skills.
