Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome! I'm a psychologist who has had my practice for almost 15 years. I have previously worked in hospitals, universities, and nursing facilities, but I have found working in private practice is my strength and also my passion. I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Hofstra University in 2009, and I moved from NYC to Ohio in 2020. So I get to see patients both in New York and Ohio.

My approach to therapy

I work in a collaborative manner with my patients. You are the expert of you. I am here to help guide you to more adaptive thinking and behavior patterns that could help you live a more balanced and thriving life. I primarily use Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT, and am now offering Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP).

What you can expect from me

No matter what your experience with psychotherapy is, I welcome you and will always try to help you feel accepted, cared for, and gently challenged at times. Your first session will entail gathering background information and identifying goals for therapy. Additionally, we will be working on our therapeutic relationship and hopefully setting the groundwork of trust and respect.
