Great to meet you!

I'm Michelle, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). I'm trained in EMDR and specialize in trauma and substance dependence, with experience working across the lifespan — children, adolescents, adults, and families — as well as with veterans and active-duty military members in both individual and community-based group settings.

My approach to therapy

I take a whole-person approach, considering the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual elements that shape your life. I guide clients through trauma and stress gently, using EMDR alongside education in alternative ways of thinking, feeling, and acting. My goal is to equip you with practical tools to cope and live life on life's terms, so you leave sessions with skills you can actually use, not just insight.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know each other and building a foundation of trust. I'll ask about what's brought you in, your history, and what you're hoping to get out of therapy, and we'll start shaping goals together from there. You can expect a calm, judgment-free space where the pace is set by you — there's no pressure to share more than you're ready to.
