Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I believe that every child and family deserve a supportive space to grow and thrive. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, so I commend you for being here! I specialize in working with children ages 3-12 and supporting families through challenges like big emotions, social skills, and life transitions with warmth and understanding.

My approach to therapy

Every child and family has a unique story, and I believe therapy should be tailored to meet their individual needs. Once we begin working together, we’ll collaborate to create a safe and supportive space where your child can grow and thrive. Open communication and trust are at the heart of my approach, and I strive to make every family feel heard and respected. I’ll be there to listen, guide, and support you and your child every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm, engaging, and child-centered environment where growth happens through play. Using play-based therapy and Cognitive-Behavioral Play Therapy (CBPT), I help children build emotional awareness, develop coping strategies, and strengthen social skills in a way that feels natural to them. Sessions are designed to meet each child’s unique needs, fostering confidence and resilience. Parents will receive insights and strategies as needed to support their child’s progress at home, ensuring the skills learned in therapy extend beyond our sessions. At this time, I offer in-person sessions only, as I’ve found that younger children benefit most from connecting and interacting in a playful, supportive environment where they can fully engage in the therapeutic process.
