Michelle Talley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience providing individual, couple, and family psychotherapy, and crisis intervention services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has provided counseling in a variety of settings such as residential treatment centers, agencies, and crisis hospitals. She has worked with individuals who have a history of trauma, relationship conflict, discrimination, domestic violence, and difficult life transitions. She has specialized training in conflict mediation, trauma informed therapy, and domestic and sexual violence. She specializes in working with women and adolescents that have experienced trauma, abusive relationships, and violence. Michelle is passionate about serving people from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and walks of life. She works to understand one’s life circumstances that may contribute to mental health issues. She aims to empower her clients to create space, balance, time, and strength to process and embrace their needs. Her approach to treatment is client-centered, culturally relevant, and partners with them on their journey of healing. She incorporates mindfulness, grounding techniques, and meditation to support individuals in therapy. Michelle has a passion for supporting others while using a strengths-based approach and integrates the client’s culture and experience to best meet the needs and goals of the client. She is compassionate, caring, and works alongside the client to find the best way to manage life stressors. She provides emotional support and guidance to individuals and families to address life changes that are interfering with their daily life.
