Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of New Jersey, a Certified Child Life Specialist, and certified in Thanatology, specializing in death, dying, loss, and bereavement. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Widener University and completed additional certification in trauma-informed care.

With over 20 years of experience, I have worked with individuals across the lifespan, from children to older adults, in hospital, hospice, and outpatient therapy settings. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating grief and loss, life transitions, trauma, caregiving and parenting challenges, and new medical diagnoses, as well as concerns related to anxiety, depression, and relationships.

My approach to therapy

I believe through the therapeutic relationship, each person can find their way to hope, healing, and growth.

My work is guided by a person-centered, strengths-based approach, allowing therapy to be tailored to each individual. I integrate elements from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and somatic practices.

What you can expect from me

The first session focuses on beginning to build a trusting therapeutic relationship. It provides an opportunity for both of us to ask questions and determine whether we are a good fit to create the supportive space you need to openly reflect on your experiences: where you’ve been, where you are now, and where you hope to go moving forward.
