Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm a licensed therapist in Pennsylvania dedicated to supporting individuals through life's most challenging moments. With extensive experience working with adults across diverse backgrounds, I specialize in helping people navigate depression, anxiety, stress, marriage and relationship issues, and trauma. My approach is grounded in compassion and practical support. I work with clients on communication challenges, isolation, grief, career transitions, financial stress, and life transitions, including divorce, midlife changes, and aging. I'm also experienced in supporting those dealing with attachment issues, codependency, personality concerns, and the complexities of blended families and family dynamics. I'm an LGBTQIA+ ally and embrace each client's individual identity. I also have expertise supporting women's issues, men's issues, military and veteran experiences, first responders, and caregivers managing stress and burnout. I'm also skilled in addressing trauma-related concerns, including post-traumatic stress, domestic violence, and traumatic brain injury, as well as substance use and co-occurring challenges.

My approach to therapy

I'm usually described as approachable, direct, curious, and compassionate. I'll bring a sense of humor to our sessions, when appropriate. I hold a Certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy training from Bryn Mawr College. I also have advanced training in working with military service members through the Center for Deployment Psychology. Areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, childhood trauma, lived adult trauma, and Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. Also, marital and relationship issues, including separation and divorce for those who are uncoupling. Parenting and family challenges, including blended families (as well as life experience). I am a lifelong learner through each new client and advanced studies. I enjoy my work.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll discuss what brings you to therapy and what is negatively impacting your life. I'd like to know your goal(s) for therapy, if you have one. If you don't, we'll develop that together as things reveal themselves. I believe in meeting you where you are with honesty, respect, and genuine care. My role is to listen deeply, help you understand patterns in your life, and support you in building the skills and resilience you need to move forward. I'm honored to walk alongside you on your healing journey. I serve Glenside, Abington, Chestnut Hill, Wyndmoor, North Wales, Jenkintown, Wyncote, Oreland, Roslyn, Dresher, Germantown, Mt. Airy, Blue Bell, Plymouth Meeting. As a Pennsylvania-licensed clinician, I work with clients statewide via telehealth.
