As a Licensed Independent Social Worker and Chemical Dependency Counselor, I’m dedicated to supporting adults through challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, structured, and client-centered. I believe in meeting clients where they are while also helping them move toward meaningful, realistic goals. I create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I primarily use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care. I focus on helping clients identify patterns, build insight, and develop practical coping skills they can apply in their daily lives.
Given my background in substance use and trauma, I also incorporate accountability and skill-building into sessions, while remaining compassionate and supportive. My goal is to help clients not only feel understood but to leave sessions with tools and direction that promote lasting change.
In our first session, you can look forward to a warm and inviting atmosphere where you can feel at ease. We’ll explore what led you to seek therapy, your unique background, and your aspirations. There's absolutely no rush to share everything; we’ll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Together, we’ll set initial goals and talk about what therapy can look like for you. I’m here to share my approach and answer any questions you may have, ensuring you feel confident and informed. My goal is for you to leave feeling truly heard, supported, and excited about the next steps on your journey!
