I am passionate about working with children and youth and their families to help them manage their crazy worlds and reach their greatest potential. I work in person with a mobile office or telemedicine when appropriate, due to weather or client choice, for individuals and families on the Western Slope.
I focus on symptom management with medications as needed and acceptance and commitment therapy and parent-based behavior management strategies for ADHD, autism, anxiety, and depression in children and adolescents. I usually approach mental health needs in a step-wise approach. This means safety first then getting to the core needs of the individual. I work on identifying personal strengths and weaknesses finding answers in life and augmenting with therapy and medications when needed/indicated.
Clients can expect to leave heard. Their goals will be validated and supported. They should leave feeling like we are in this together with hope for healing and growth.
