Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia, that works with trauma and moral injury. Since 2019, I have specialized in working with veterans, first responders, high-performance professionals, and their partners who are carrying the impact of critical incidents, prolonged stress, and the weight of service-oriented roles.

I am trained in EMDR, Prolonged Exposure (PE), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and other evidence-based trauma treatments. My approach combines proven interventions with a collaborative style tailored to each client’s goals. Some clients want concrete tools to reduce symptoms; others want to better understand how their experiences have shaped them. Often, we do both.

My approach to therapy

Many of the people I work with are strong, capable individuals who are used to handling difficult situations without slowing down. Over time, though, experiences can accumulate leading to symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, guilt, anger, disconnection, or strain in relationships. Therapy provides a space to process those experiences in a way that feels approachable, respectful but challenging, and grounded in research.

What you can expect from me

Remember, this is your therapy, find the right fit for you. I love helping clients reach their goals, such as reducing hypervigilance, reconnecting with family, or feeling less dread before getting to work. EMDR and the like can help; life doesn't have to stay this way. Reach out for a consultation.
