Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Michelle Zuckerman, and I’ve been serving others as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT84298) for over 10 years, with experience in both the mental health field and clinical supervision. Life is full of challenges, many outside of our control, but I’m honored to walk alongside you as you navigate them, so you can move toward the goals that matter most to you.

I specialize in supporting others through trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the overwhelming stressors of daily life, while integrating traditional therapy with somatic and holistic practices, including mindfulness, grounding, Brainspotting, Polyvagal-informed care, sound healing, and essential oils, to support deep, nervous system-rooted transformation.

My approach to therapy

I am very comfortable sitting with you in the discomfort, so you don’t feel like you’re facing it alone. Therapy can be hard, and just showing up (and continuing to show up) takes incredible courage. You’re working through challenges and I’m in it with you- because you deserve that kind of support.

I genuinely want to know you, your story, how you got here, and what matters most to you. I’m a naturally inquisitive, curious, and intuitive person, so I often ask questions and use reflective questions, to help guide the process of us getting to the root of what is going on. I do so, in a nonjudgemental, compassionate way, so we can find clarity and discover where to go from here, together.

It’s truly an honor to be on this journey with you, and I hope you can feel that in every step we take.

What you can expect from me

I’m pretty mellow, laid back, and easy going, so sessions with me may feel a bit like sitting down with a warm cup of coffee and a trusted friend, talking about life. Others have shared my calmness, and authenticity help them feel at ease to open up about things that they haven't shared before.

Sessions typically are intuitively guided, meaning I meet you where you are and focus on what you need in the moment. We usually begin with a simple check-in, what’s on your mind today and go from there. Some sessions may include grounding tools like affirmation cards or a singing bowl to support emotional release and nervous system regulation. Others might be more practical or focused, depending on where you’re at. I can be direct when needed, but always with care, curiosity, and compassion. Regardless of what interventions may be incorporated in any given session, I will continue to show up as myself, listening intently, and inquisitively.
