Great to meet you!

Welcome, I'm glad you are here.

Taking the step to begin therapy—whether you’re seeking support for yourself or for your child—is meaningful, and I honor the courage it takes to reach out. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and that children and young people have an innate capacity for growth when given the right environment. My role is not to direct or fix, but to walk alongside you—offering empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. Together, we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable, gently exploring challenges while building on existing strengths.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client-centered or child-centered. I respect my client's ability to move towards growth. I work with children ages 3-11years old and utilize play to communicate and understand my clients. I work with Pre/Teens by using activities and talk therapy. I utilize Person-Centered talk therapy when working with young adults.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm, inviting environment. With play therapy, the first session is information gathering from the parents/guardian and helping parents understand the expectations of play therapy. During first session with the child, the child is introduced to the playroom. For older children and young adults, the first few sessions are building a safe relationship.
