Great to meet you!

Mick earned a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling at The University of Great Falls in Montana. Simultaneously, he pursued credentials for a License in Addiction Counseling. Understanding the all-too-common relationship between menal illness, aspects of addiction, and trauma is imperative to helping people in our society. Mick is also certified in E.M.D.R. Therapy, found to be highly effective treating P.T.S.D. He has applied all of these techniques to various mental health issues and demographic populations.

In Montana, winter presents some of the greatest outdoor activities; hiking, skiing, snowmobiling, and splitting firewood. Technically, fire wood is not a recreational activity but there is something spiritual between a man and his chainsaw.

My approach to therapy

Unconditional Positive Regard is a therapeutic concept of practicing complete support and total acceptance of a person without judgment, regardless of what they say or do. Not to condone harmful behaviors; rather to accept a person's inherent humanity in order to make positive changes.

What you can expect from me

Upon introduction, we will meet and both share a small glimpse into lives as people do when coming together. As the nature of your struggles becomes our topic, your work has begun. Its HOPE we are reaching for by the end of our session; things can change in a better way.
