Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a veteran of the United States Air Force and also have an MBA with a specialization in management.

My professional experience includes providing psychotherapy to individuals, including active duty/veterans and law enforcement officers/first responders, struggling with:

  1. depression, anxiety, anger, loss/grief
  2. trauma
  3. life changes, relationship, and divorce
  4. work dissatisfaction, burnout and conflict.

My approach to therapy

I am trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy. CBT examines our negative thinking, feelings, and behaviors contribute and reinforce to our distress. CBT will help you explore and shift from negative to adaptive perspectives.

I am also an Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) - Certified clinician. EMDR is a phased approach to treating trauma by reconnecting the client to the images, self-thoughts, emotions, and body sensations associated with the trauma through bilateral stimulation.

What you can expect from me

The counseling process will help you achieve enhanced self-awareness to develop the tools and strategies needed for emotional well-being, resiliency as well as trauma recovery.
