Great to meet you!
I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.
I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation, behavioral concerns, grief, stress, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. I utilize evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), EMDR, and play-based interventions.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years working in mental health, I understand the importance of creating practical strategies that clients can apply in their daily lives, relationships, school, and work environments. My goal is to help clients build emotional awareness, strengthen coping skills, improve confidence, and develop healthier patterns of thinking and behavior.
I also incorporate Animal-Assisted Therapy when appropriate through partnership with my certified therapy dog, Comet. The therapeutic presence of a therapy dog can help create comfort, reduce anxiety, and foster emotional connection during the counseling process.
Above all, I strive to create a judgment-free environment where clients feel supported as they move toward healing, growth, and resilience.
