Great to meet you!

Maybe you're the person everyone comes to for support, but lately you're not sure who you can turn to yourself. You may be lying awake worrying about your family, struggling with tension in your relationship, grieving someone you love, or trying to stay strong while facing an illness or the possibility of losing someone close to you. You might also feel caught between what your family or culture expects from you and what you actually want for your own life. I work with teens and adults who are carrying these pressures and need a place where they can finally speak openly without judgment. Together, we'll build on the strengths you already have and find practical ways to make life feel more manageable, connected, and fulfilling.

My approach to therapy

I don't see my role as telling you how to live your life. Instead, we'll look at the story you've been telling yourself about who you are, the expectations you've inherited from family or culture, and the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. That could mean learning how to communicate with your partner without every disagreement becoming an argument, setting boundaries with family without being consumed by guilt, or managing anxious thoughts when life feels uncertain. We'll focus on what you can change now while also making space for experiences like grief and loss that don't have a simple solution. I'll support you, challenge you when it's helpful, and give you practical tools you can use long after our conversations end.

What you can expect from me

We'll start with a simple question: what would you like to be different in your life? From there, we'll talk about what's been weighing on you, whether that's your relationship, family conflict, anxiety, grief, cultural expectations, work stress, or the responsibility of caring for someone you love. I want to understand not only what's going wrong but also what's already helping you get through it. You won't be expected to tell me everything at once, and we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. By the end of our first conversation, my goal is for you to feel heard and to have a clear idea of what we can begin working on together.
