Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor–Supervisor (LPC-S), Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA), and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) with over 15 years of experience working across children, adolescents, and adults. My background includes advanced training in clinical psychology and ongoing doctoral work in Rehabilitation Counseling. I specialize in emotional regulation, trauma and adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), substance use, and co-occurring mental health concerns. I have worked extensively in school, clinical, and community settings, and I value creating meaningful, respectful connections with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, structured, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I primarily integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) components to help clients understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact. I also use trauma-informed care to ensure clients feel safe and supported. I focus on building practical skills for emotional regulation, improving relationships, and increasing resilience, while tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where they feel heard and respected. In the first session, we will discuss current concerns, relevant background, and what you hope to gain from therapy. Together, we will begin identifying goals and areas of focus, while also establishing a clear plan for treatment. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling understood, with a sense of direction and confidence in the process.
