I practice a strengths based and solution oriented approach to therapy that helps clients build confidence, emotional momentum, and practical habits they can use in their daily lives. My work integrates Solution Focused Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, and Narrative Therapy, woven into a structured method I developed called strengths based habit formation.
In sessions, I focus on what is already working within a client and help them turn those strengths into repeatable habits that support emotional stability, resilience, and growth. I am an active and collaborative therapist. Clients come to me because they want more than insight. They want movement, clarity, and tools they can apply right away.
My style is warm, direct, and encouraging. I help clients understand their personal narratives, reframe negative thoughts through realistic and strengths anchored perspectives, and build communication and decision making skills that improve their relationships and daily functioning. Each session includes clear and actionable steps, structured homework, and follow up so clients can see and feel their progress.
A key part of my work is My Elara, the therapy companion I built to support clients between sessions. My Elara helps clients stay engaged with their goals, track their habits and emotional patterns, and practice the skills we develop together. It gives clients a gentle and supportive way to maintain momentum throughout the week while giving me insight into their progress so our sessions stay focused and effective. My Elara is designed to strengthen the therapeutic relationship by helping clients stay connected to their growth every day.
In our first session, I take time to understand what you are struggling with and how these challenges are affecting your daily life. I will ask thoughtful questions so I can get a clear picture of your concerns, your strengths, and the areas where you want to see change.
We will talk about your goals and what you hope to accomplish in therapy. I want to know what matters most to you so we can build a plan that feels meaningful and realistic.
I will also explain how therapy will work, what my approach looks like, and what you can expect from our time together. You will leave the first session with a clear understanding of how we will move forward, what our focus will be, and how we will begin building momentum toward your goals.
