Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Mija Lee, M.Ed., LPCC, NCC. I provide therapy for children, adolescents, young adults, and adults throughout California. Since 2017, I have worked in outpatient mental health clinics and school settings, helping individuals and families navigate anxiety, OCD, trauma, ADHD, autism, behavioral challenges, grief, and life transitions.

I am an Advanced Certified Autism Specialist (ACAS), ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP), Certified TF-CBT Therapist, and a qualified ERP therapist for OCD and anxiety. My goal is to help clients regain confidence, develop practical coping skills, and discover their inner strengths while feeling supported throughout the therapeutic process.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and evidence-based. I tailor therapy to each client's unique needs and integrate approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), mindfulness, and skills-based interventions.

I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel safe, understood, and empowered. Together, we work to understand patterns, build effective coping strategies, and create lasting changes that improve daily functioning and overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable therapeutic relationship. I will take time to understand your concerns, strengths, goals, and what brings you to therapy.

Clients can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where they can speak openly and ask questions. By the end of the session, we typically identify initial goals and discuss practical next steps to help you move toward meaningful progress.
