Great to meet you!

I graduated in 2008 with my Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have worked in community mental health settings for 15 years. I opened my virtual private practice in 2022!

My specialties include Maternal Mental Health and Trauma Therapy. I have training with Postpartum Support International and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy) for Trauma Relief. I also specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which includes mindfulness and emotion regulation skills.

My approach to therapy

When we work together, you will understand how your thoughts impact the way you feel & act; explore ways to help you feel better in the long-term; practice skills that will help you manage big feelings & help you come to a deeper understanding of yourself; find ways to empower & rejuvenate your old self.

What you can expect from me

My style is validating, and I will also challenge you to stretch yourself to be open to new ways of thinking that work better for you. I will ask you what goals you would like to work towards while you are in therapy, and I will give you the tools to work towards these goals. It is up to you to implement them in between sessions, which is part of the hard work.

Sessions are typically 45-60 minutes in length. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
